Ludwigia requires high light IME (short tho it is), Myra is right. Most LFS give wrong info about fish... and are even worse about plants. If you are going to shop for plants, its probably a good idea to research them before you buy unless you don't mind coming home with stuff that will die. I usually use the plant guide at
