MARINE SALT!
to truely understand why you MUST use marine salt, you must understand what a brackish environment is.
Brackish water - Where ocean meets a river. so why would you use AQUARIUM salt when Brackish water requires the OCEAN
I would also suggest a hydrometer to find out what concentration you are shooting for... also, always mix marine salt out of the aquarium. Specific gravity should be 1.010-1.015 for green spotted puffer juvi's, full saltwater as they age (1.023). I would gradually introduce the new saltwater... first getting the specific gravity in your tank to be around 1.005 the first week, second week 1.010.
