Rockwool is inert (if thats what yours are in, which is what plants are usually potted in) so unless there was something living in there i doubt it. First i'd go to where i got the plant and ask if theyve had similar problems.
Little white wormy thing on glass usually spell planaria, which is a type of "sewer worm", usually only encoutered in aquaria when water changes are lax and pollutants allowed to accumulate. Laterite/flourite is rich soil tho, so it MAY be that, altho i'd certainly not take that as gospel and do a bit more detective work first.
