Cherry barbs can be kinda shy. They don't school like other schooling fish do, so its fine to keep them in groups of 3-4, just have a couple females per male. Mine like to hide in my plants alot and kinda keep to themselves.

As far as the cories go, I like Pandas the best (from your list). They are the cutest. But, get what you like. False Juliis (I doubt they are true Juliis) are nice too and I had a group of them before. They are out alot and don't hide as much as some cories. The Albinos are really active too and stand out when you have a dark substrate.

The Pandas and False Juliis will stay the smallest, at right around 2", maybe a tad bigger.
