first of all take a trip to your store and talk to them on their policy on returning fish, most will take them for store credit though some will only take them for free
to return them, first of all get a couple of plastic bags they use in the shop, they might give you a couple. next fill it about a third with water. catch the fish and put them in ( if the fish are small ,less than 2cm, you may want to sellotape the corners up) inflate the bag the same way you see the shop do it and the tie a tight knot in the top
