I haven't read that one. The only reason not to go natural is to have more fish in a given amount of water than would naturally occur. Think about how many fish are in a 55 gallon section of a natural pond or lake and it could well be less than one.
But if you do try it, keep us posted with details and pics. I, for one, would much rather learn about your experience than try it myself.
