My friend had a couple of these...until a nice bunch of fire ants broke into her house....poor froggies She didn't have much trouble taking care of them. I believe she had some sand and decorative stuff like driftwood in the aquarium as well as a couple dishes of water, should they choose to get wet. She had them for about 18 months and didn't do much more than give them some crickets (yuck) and clean out their living environment about once a week to prevent bacteria and things of that nature. Other than that, I think they were pretty low maintenance, and very pretty to look at.
