Bluemerlin hit it dead on ... you have to let it cycle. Any attempt to alter it just prolongs the agony. Some of the new products like BIO-Spira ( http://www.cichlid-forum.com/reviews...ils.php?id=317 ) do effectively Help shorten the cycle time but the ammonia sitll has to build up to get broken down by the bacteria to make the nrtrites ... ect untill it's fully cycled.

2 days till I'm back in the states!!!! Florida to be exact, those Floridians have no idea what they're in for!!

tanks: 100, 55, 46 BF, 26 BF, 20L, 5 fry tank 20L planted with CRS is the only thing up (easy for the wife to care for in my stead)
