The "Golden Wonder" is a top-spawning fish. They typically lay their eggs in floating plants. Most breeders us a "spawning mop" made of dark green yarn and attached to a float of some sort, like a cork. Killies don't "have a spawn" like many other fish. They will lay a few eggs every day or so over a long period of time. So you'll have some new eggs laid, while some are hatching, while some are growing up.... This is why killie folks usually have lots of plastic shoeboxes and small tanks.
