I remember reading that at one of the public aquariums a few years back they had a turtle that died. The staff instead of disposing of the turtle actually split it up to make turtle soup and stuff. The entire community was outraged. Even after reading it I thought there was nothing wrong with it. I mean are farmers not suppose to eat beef, pork or chicken just because they raise them? LOL The only thing I would have been worried about is why did it die. Most public aquarium animals live many times longer than they would in the wild. You think the meat would have been tough compaired to any other turtle they could have got without controversy.
