If it were not in the nature of Oscars attacking others that are smaller I would suggest Pakus like my brother, but if you did get these they would have to grow large enough in another tank so that they would not be attacked because of their smaller size.

Just in case you don't already know, Red-bellied Pacus get about 2ft long, and Black Pacus can grow to 4.5-5ft. They're both shoaling fish and need huge tanks (much bigger than 100 gallons)!
