I always treat my fish with Copper in the QT just to be sure. Some people just wait & see. It's totally up to you on that one.

I always acclimate both ways, In and out of QT but usually just for 15 mins to be sure temps are the same. The QT water I use come out of my main tank when I do water changes so the SG is the same.
