ADF food

When I bought my frogs, I was told that they eat fish flakes and little bits of raw fish - when I researched online, it said to feed them bloodworms. Now, I went to the store today (and walked out with another frog), asked for bloodworms, and the shop assistant gave me tubifex worms, saying they're the same thing... are they right? I know my fish are enjoying them!

What else can African Dwarf Frogs eat?

Not at all, Bloodworms are Midge fly larvea, and tubifex are tubifex.

Your dwarfs will eat almost anything, freeze fried, frozen, pellets.

But not the tubifex worms? I'm quite limited on what I can get food-wise over here, and every fish shop I've been to doesn't sell bloodworms and has tried to sell me tubifex worms instead. Thankfully the mollies have been scoffing them like there's no tomorrow!

What non-'manufactured' food can I give the frogs? Is there anything that I can buy in a supermarket for them, eg fresh fish? If I could buy the worms online I would, but I don't have a credit card or cheque book >.<
