Default baby snapper

could i keep my baby snapping turtle (7") in a 30g while i am cycling a small pond for it?

yeah. but turtles don't need their water to be cycled for them to live in it.

what kind of snapper is it and how big is the pond?

the ponds roughly a 110g. i was going to cycle it for the sunfish i was gonna keep with the turtle. the sunfish are more like a never ending supply of feeders. the turtle can pick them off at its leisure.

Yes, but you would need to do daily water changes- and don't forget to scrub the shell once a week with a soft bristle toothbrush. In that small of a space- it's going to be hard to maintain it.
