Default Just curious..snail and turtle...together?

I have a freshwater tank with a black mystery snail. from my understanding from the pet store (no one has replied to my post yet) snails reproduce quite often.

My friend has a turtle tank and was wondering if i could transport some snails into it once i get some and they get large enough?

I told him i don't think so because the water if fairly dirty but I just wanted to make sure....he really really wants one.

I'd imagine the turtle might eat the snails. At least that's what my friend's turtle does with her spare time . He could always set up a small tank for the snails if he likes them.

Turtles will eat anything that isnt another turtle, and some will even eat them.
