Always at surface?
I have a 10-gallon tank, which is split with a betta (has about 1.5 gallons or so) by a divider.
In my other side of the tank I have two African Dwarf Frog. One who hides under rocks and comes out when there is food and the other is always at the surface. The one who is always at the suface happened to jump over the divider the other day. Frantically in fear that the betta might attack him I grabbed him and put him on the other side, there hasn't been any repeats of this incident.
Anyways, my concern is how he is always at the surface. He seems to try to swim down, but always ends up floating to the top. He does look too bloated, he is bigger than my other frog though, but I got him before that one as well so age could play a part there. Could there be something wrong with him? I looked up dropsy, but the pictures from what I saw didn't compare at all. I mean he looks completely fine he just can't stay at the bottom....
