Pretty cool little turtles. Wish I could get one but they are illegal in NC.

Nice turtles. Those guys get huge though. I have some in a pond near my house. I've seen one aloms 14inches! Super long nails and the tail had scratches all over it.

(Hey guys I'm back after a long break)

Pumpkin try going to www.turtlesale.com (read my sticky post on turtle care) its where I got my 2 Mississippi map turtles as babies(they also sell full grown turtles), they also have a great selection of turtle care products and tank accessories, i would really consider getting at least a 65 gallon tank, which is what i have my 2 turtles in, red eared sliders can get pretty big and eventually might better enjoy being in a small pond, but nice looking turtles though. as for the fuzz it is a fungus and you should try a salt bath, You have to use aquarium salt from a pet store, not table salt. Use 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. The turtle would get two one hour long soaks each day. The rest of the time, he could be in his regular tank(do not put salt in their actual tank).
