There is a pretty neat store called Atlantis Aquarium in Marietta that I go through Roswell to get to. They have cool display tanks and moderate prices. They sell a lot of plants too.

http://www.marinefish.net/index.html The freshwater section is small, but beautiful, with some nice plants and knowledgable people

i've been to the marine fish store before.
great selection for saltwater fish i've gotta say. too bad i dont have a salt water tank but its one of the more nicer places i've seen for sw stuff.
their plant selection was ok... but they didn't carry anything out of the ordinary that would make me want to go back.

i visited atlantis aquarium today. they have a pretty good level of fish there. even some fish that are hard to find any place else. they have alot bn pleco's, i've seen a few farlowella's that i've never seen any another lfs.
the store looks a bit dirty and the planted tanks could use a scrubbing. if you're looking for fish hard to find this would be a pretty good store.

since i'm giving a few reviews here, i'd might as well give another one.
i also passed by Aquarium Showcase inc. off of the winward exit. (exit 11 off ga 400)
they're mostly a saltwater place, have a huge selection of equipment and a "okay" sized fish room. the inside of the store looks very nice and clean. worth a look if your close and have time to killl.

.....i'm still on the look for a good lfs that has lots of plants.
if you know of one, give me a shout.

I'm not a plant keeper but I like The Fish store in buckhead and Aviarium in Gwinett, Petland in Duluth. All have some plants. Why don't you come to the auction Sept. 16. We often see as many plants as fish (and they get higher prices).

Also...check out the new Petland in Alpharetta; it is right in front of the Costco on Windward Pkwy. I was there the week before last, and they had a decent selection of plants.

The Petland locations in Duluth (P-tree Pkwy by the T-get and HD) and Dunwoody (P-tree Dunwoody by the W-Mart) are also worth a look if you live or work close by.

Yeah, I'm really upset I missed the auction you guys had, my girlfriend suprised me with UGA tickets that day, I was already planning on coming. Maybe someone can contact me by e-mail BDawg364@aol.com, and I can come to a few meetings?

I definitely recommend the Petland on 141 by target except for their pricing. The markup on those fish is 2-3 times, and they hardly even give their employees a discount. Great selection though.
