I was apparently incorrect in my attempt to sex the N. Brevis at Marine Fish and Reef. (the guy working there knew NOTHING about them. not what species, or what genus, he knew pretty much the continent they were from and that they didnt need salt in their water much or less which was male) so i have a young male hiding from an adult male in my 5 gallon right now...
I am interested in purchasing a female N. Brevis. I can either trade a small male or give money since I doubt anyone needs one. I'm just going to have to return the young guy... |

I honestly dont know. The dominant male is light tan in color. The other is darker, but i dont think it has achieved its true colors due to stress. They were both that color initially.
