What effect does aquarium water have on a septic system?
I want to plumb water changes into the current septic rank, I just don't know if there are any ill effects. |

From what I understand, it should be definitely beneficial. In fact, people buy bacterial concoction to improve septic system operation. If your tanks are healthy, you're already built up mini septic treatment systems in each tank, and the bacteria in what you pump out should keep right on working in your septic tank. Hope this helps.
