Hi Guys! --------------------Update - Traded ------------------------------- Thanks!!!!!
I'm looking to retire (or downsize) from fishkeeping for a while. I have a great planted 55 gal, freshwater with a large community of great fish that I am looking to get rid of for either a trade or for the right price. Tank includes: 4 - Angels - (mixed wild w/gold domestic..really beautiful from Spring Auction '03) 5 - Blue Flame Tetras 5 - TRUE Siamese Algea Eaters --- 1.5-2" in length -- great color and will actually eat the nasty black hair algea that nothing else will touch (10-15 - Rummy Nose Tetras --- great size school.... I can't count them they never stop moving 2 or 3- Kuhli Loaches (again.... not easy to count) 1 - Generic Pleco (I know very scientific, right?) 1 - Pleco w/ the green spots.... stays very small 2 - Yellow - White Cloud Mountain minnows 5 - Gold Tetras 1 - Botia - Can't remember which kind... White with pale orange tail fin. See it rarely. 3 - Assorted Corey Cats 3 - Large pieces of driftwood LOTS of plants - Anubias, 1 potted amazon Sword, LOTS of Aponogeton natans 1 - Penguin double bio-wheel 1 - Magnum Canister 1 - 48" JBJ Formosa SS-J2 - With 2 brand new 6700 Lamps 1 - Open Structure Pine Stand Any questions? Hey Ron,
I've been around a while, just not on the forum. I'm in the Roswell area these days. I'm not sure what to ask, which is why I offered the trade. Any thoughts on what this stuff is worth? I know that the light cost me $220(don't forget that I am throwing in the brand new, never been plugged in bulbs). The tank should be worth $75-100 by itself.... Call it $400 for the whole thing? Or a trade for a smaller (20-36 gal) full set-up? The new hubby wants to buy an entertainment system and we need the wall space in the living room. Here is the only pic I have on my hard drive at the moment.... kitty cat not included in deal. |

Hi Virginia, I don't need a whole set up, but I'd love to buy a few pieces from you. I'm working on a planted tank now and am int he market for a lamp. I'd also love to get ahold of some SAEs and the driftwood.
I know you;d rather sell it as a set, but if you want to move it piecemeal, I'll be happy to send a 29G tank and/or and a biowheel back your way. Send me a PM if interested. |
