Found out why i lost so many fish. with my tank. The pictus tank at walmart was diseased they lost all fish in it as did i lose the ones i had bought. so now my tank is running good and my swordtail trio is doing fine thanks for all the help!

Goes to show you never buy a fish from walmart huh lol My father in law did the same thing with his tanks gave them all ick.

It is fine to buy fish from Walmart, you just have to inspect the tanks for signs of disease. And also, don't buy fish from a tank that has alot of dead fish in them...that's not a good sign. I have bought alot of cories from Walmart, but I make sure they don't have any diseases. My local Walmart always has ich in their tanks...so I don't buy fish from there.
