Exclamation to many fish?

i have a 29g tank and an empty 10g. i was wondering if 3 silver dollars, 2 mollies, and 3 glassfish is 2 much? can i add more mollies?

silver dollars will need at least a 55-75 gallon tank. they get about 5 inches in diameter and are active, schooling fish. a 29 gallon is too small.

I agree with Scuba. Silver Dollars need at least a 50 gallon. You should consider taking back the Silver Dollars, and you could add more Mollies.

It's not going to help with the silver dollars. Still they get 5", plus they are an active schooling fish.

You need to take them back to the LFS and exchange for something smaller, or upgrade your tanksize to about a 55g. Using your 10g won't help because you're not overstocked, you just have fish that will not fit in your tank because they grow too large.

I would trade them for an angel or a school of tetras.

yeah. just go to your lfs and ask them to take the fish for you. you may even get a little store credit, which is what mine does.

Also, if your going to get rid of the silver dollars make the tank brackish for your glass fish or get rid of them too.
