Default Vertical Swim

I will be done cycling an Eclipse12 in a few weeks and was curious if there were any fw surface fish or vertical climbers that would do well in that environment in order to take better advantage of the space. Any other suggestions would be appreciated since I haven't a clue what I'll put in it yet. My color scheme is black, green and red.

ACFs shouldn't be put with any other fish and wouldn't fit for long in a 12g tank. They get quite large and are very aggressive.

You could go with white cloud mountain minnows. They stay near the surface and are a dark grey almost black with a silvery stripe.
