Some questions

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I'm not really a beginner to freshwater fish aquariums as I had a 20 gallon tank years ago (mostly tetras and guppies, with a cory catfish and a couple of snails). Right now my living situation does not allow me to have anything larger then a 10 gallon, so here are my questions: can I keep a male betta and a female betta together in this size tank? What about a male betta and a cory catfish? Thanks in advance

i tried it a month ago and the Male almost got fin nipped and bullied to death by the female, i think the male forgot it was a male he was very lazy and didnt care. also cories like to be kept in groups of like 4 or more so id say it wouldnt be a great thing.
but you could keep the male or female and maybe 2-3 cories if u really want em but i wouldn't. get some smaller tetras or rasboras to fill up the space.

yeah i like em a lot to... they are quite expensive for a small fish, i think u could get on of those mini catfish instead of the cories, but im not sure.
