Does it matter what kind of plants you put with guppies?

I don't think the guppies mind what plants you keep. It would be wise to get plants that survive in the amount of light you have though....unless you are getting plastic.

No, not at all. Since they are small and may like to hide, you may want to get one with lots of leaves and bushy, so they can hide inside of it and stuff.

Absolutely correct! The one kind of plant they won't like is the kind that's fouling the water 'cause it's dying. But if it fits your light parameters, you should be all set.

I'd recommend something that will float - water sprite maybe- so the babies have a place to hide and not get eaten up. The babiers swim up toward the light and plant roots are good hiding places.
