I notice more and more now that the fish are supossedly setleing that they seem to "fight" more.
It used to be just between just between the blackskirts when they darted at each other when they ate, now it seems all fish are doing it to each other? Is this commen? Sometimes they dart so fast and fierce that they look like they are going to seriously harm another fish, and now the danios are doing it to the head and tail tetra! It usually happens after all the food is gone and they are frantically searching for more.

Well, with my mollies, once they got settled was when they started nipping around to establish their hierarchies. I'm not terribly familiar with Tetras, but it might be possible that's a little bit of the same thing? I've read that Danios will nip at fins as a behavior that they're under stress.
I'm not too sure though! Maybe someone who knows more about the little fishies will come help you out. I'm still learning about them, myself!

Its definitely establishing hierarchies....all fish will eventually do it, even the most peaceful tetras.
Blackskirts and Danios are more nippy than alot of schooling fish though, but Head and Tailight tetras are guilty of nipping at/charging at each other. The Skirts and Danios are probably more prone to nipping other fish.

The problem now is (or maybe not) that one of the pearl danios (even at meal times) just swims back and forth usually in one spot, like it's in a trance. Seems healthy. Must be eating somehow, to still be alive. Just can't quite figure out this behavior.
Also on a side note, if the zebra danio I mentioned about isn't getting better (concerning his mouth or part of his mouth missing almost up to his eye) within a week, should I consider laying him to rest? Or because he is still swimming around seemingly happy. Should I just let him be?
