I have a 45g that has been up and running for a few months. It has 5 Glofish and 1 Anostomus (Cigar fish) and also 2 snails. Since the Anostomus stays hid basically all day the only fish most people see are the 5 Glofish in the 45 gallons.
My water parameters are fine, with the only possible exception of a 8.0 pH. I would like a semi larger fish or group of fish that people would notice when they look at my tank. Also something that won't bother the Glofish as my kids really like them. Thanks for any help |

You could add both a school of fish and some show fish IMO. I'd suggest something like a school of tetras....maybe like Diamond tetras or Lemon tetras. For show fish, you could go with a pair of Bolivian or Blue or Gold Rams.

A single Bolivian would be fine, as for water properties, check the the lfs's, and it they are already acclimatised to that pH I wouldn't worry about it.
