Hey guyes, i have three danios just for my tank for now and i will be getting more. I woke up this morning and they were fine. When i just got home they all where hiding underthe rocks and darthing around the tank. I put in a air hose with the blue thing on it. Whe i was taking the hose out it felt slimmy. Could that have freaked them out or can someone tell me what is wrong?
Thnx... |

That slime is usually normal.
The real thing you need to answer is what size is the tank. Also, whats the temperature, and other water parameters, thats really the best way to figure out if anythings wrong. The air hose and blue thing I assume was an airstone? If so, you really don't need to take it out. |

They are probably just adjusting to their new surroundings. My danios seem to like the bubbles from the airstone, so once used to it they shouldn't be bothered by it at all. If you are lucky you will get to see them play
If they are shy with people in the room the solution is to hang out in the room as much as you can, that will get them used to people being in there and make them less shy
