More Fish In the Sea
|
I have had my albino rainbow shark for about 2 weeks now and it hasn't been eating at all. It hides in a cavish thing in my tank and just swims around it(territory i guess). Every once in a while an opaline gourami would swim inside and i'll see him sucking on the opaline(scavenging?).
Well I'm worried because i read online that the juvies need to eat veggies or they will have pale fins and have stunted growth. What to do? |

What have you been trying to feed it?
I did a quick google search and I did not find anything that said they have to have veggies. Most that I read stated they are omnivores, but prefer more plant matter in their diet, which includes algae/spirulina wafers, herbivore flakes, and fresh veggies. They will also eat shrimp pellets, bottom feeder wafers, and frozen foods like bloodworms. If you haven't tried already, get some algae wafers and shrimp pellets and alternate them.
