Imagine a freshwater fish that has stunning colors, isn't aggressive, is easy to keep, is easy to breed, doesn't cost a lot. If you think that I'm making up this wonderful fish, you're wrong. It's the peacok gudgeon (Tateurndina ocellicauda).
Anyone else have information on this fishy?

Knight~Ryder,
You really don't need to post multiple threads about interesting fish. Most of us full well know about them, and are happy to talk about them... if a question is involved.

My question here is, why do they refuse flake food?
Are they a hardy fish?

They may be wild caught and not used to eating flake. Alot of wild caught fish have to be weaned onto flake. Some may never eat flake food.

We have about 9 of them at the store right now, they eat flake just fine.
Sometimes they wont, then feeding frozen is usually best.
