I'm not sure how many other tanks you have, but the 15 would make a nice hospital/quarantine tank. I feel they are great to have, just incase you get a sick fish, or buy new fish.

i saw your avater and that means you might like bettas.you could make it a planted aquarium with maybe a school of small feeder guppies and,of course,a male betta.a group of females may end up ugly and 1 female isnt as pretty as the fabulas male betta splendens!!!

Please do not put guppies with a betta. The betta will nip at the guppies long tempting fins.

You could go with a school of a single type of fish with a planted tank... which is awesome when done right Good schooling fish are pretty much any tetra (stick with the smaller ones: rummy nose, cardinal, neons), I think you could go with a school of harlequin rasboras; cherry barbs would work... there is a list of them that would work well as a species tank.

In regards to seeing the fish Obs mentioned just do a google image search.

I would get a school of Cardinal Tetra or Rasboras but I'm partial to both.

When I get my 75g up and running I plan on moving the Tetra over to it getting a huge school going. I'll most likely replace them with a school of Rasboras.

Someone else asked about Beta compatability in another thread. If you do want them I suggest you piggy back it and see what your options are.
