Could 1 more thing go wrong in my tank...ReAllY??!!!
So first ich (months ago) then brown algae (not totally cleared yet), cyanobacteria (I am in the trenches now) and then THIS?!
What is this on my bettas tail?? I just noticed it this evening, sorry the pics are blurry... on the 2nd one it look like a weird piece of jelly but it is round and looks more whitish (at first I thought it was a snail) he is swimming, eating, acting normal, I have had him for awhile I have never seen anything like this in my tank, its not even close to his body, like on the actual fish, its 1/2 down his tail!! What is this and how do I treat it? Heeeeeeelp me!!!!!!!

This looks very much like a Fungal Infection, I suggest you do a 75% water change and then you can get treatment for fungal infections from nearly every fish store. Keep to the instructions and it should clear within 3-5 days

Yeah, brown algae is no problem. Scrape it yourself or have a pleco do it for you haha

I agree with the fungal infection.
If the algae REALLY bothers you, one thing you can do is to add something like this: http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/group/24604/product.web ,or an equivalent, to the water and it should clear up nicely. Although the species of cyanobacteria in marine and freshwater are different, they seem to be closely related enough that this works for both.
Good luck!

your heater can break and cook all your fish while you sleep.

Pima-fix or standard salt treatment should help.
