What fish would you recommend I add to my tank?

I have a variety of peaceful fish in my 44.7 gallon (planted) tank and would like to add a couple-three more. What I have so far:

5 Siamese algae eaters
1 Flying fox
2 Otocinclus
5 Black skirt tetras
1 White skirt tetra
4 Platys
1 Betta
5 Cory cats

I'd like something colorful, that won't outgrow the tank or harass the other fish. I'd like to keep the cost under $7.50 per fish.

I'm thinking some dwarf gouramis might be a nice fit. Any opinions?

Please, do you have any recommendations?

Myself, have never liked gouramis (unless sparkling gouramis, love them!) they can be mean. I love my dwarfs. Rams are very colorful, and will not outgrow the tank.

i wouldnt get gouramis they will fight with the betta as they are in the same family as the betta and they will fight to the death but its your fish your money its what you decide.

I am wondering how big your Sae's are just now.
As they grow they become hogs and will eat any flake food you put in the tank and forget about eating hair algae. They may outcompete your corys. I had this happen with just one Sae and 6 cories. The cories starved before i figured out what was happening.

Sae's can grow up to 6 inches long and eventually will start being territorial.
Also those little ottos will have to compete pretty hard with the sae's.
The flying foxes are also known to become territorial as they mature.
