Poop

I changed the guppies aquarium water. Nice clean bottom. I feed them and about 30 min later there is a whole lot of poop. Reddish pink. They seem to be very mellow and pooping a ton. Could this e the result of too rich a diet in animal and less in veggies? Or the result of moving to a clean tank. I did have to chase them to catch them.

it may have just been time to use the bathroom although this sounds suspicious. keep us posted

If the poop is the color of what you fed them, its normal. Food in, poop out, there is only so much room.

The crazy pooping stopped. I'm thinking it may have been due to stress of trying to catch them and a large water change.
