Default Pleeeease help me :)

have a 35 gal tank as you can see in my signature, and those are all my fish, but recently i have noticed that my female beta has been hiding up by the heater along the wall. ANYways, i put her in a smaller tank by herself, but now she can barely swim. her fins werent large to begin with, and they are freyed a little now, but shouldnt she still be able to swim?? like she can barely even get to the top to get food without getting tired and having to let herself fall to the bottom.....is there ne food or something that i can give her to help her grow her fins back? or do u think its something else that is wrong with her?
another thing, she just LOOKS and ACTS like she is being beaten up, but i have had her with all the other fish currently in my tank for atleast 1.5 months with no problems
ALSO she used to be the one who was beating up my other fish!

what are your water parameters? if the fins are torn then it could be fin rot, or your betta was getting nipped at. i dont know too much about dropsy, so i dont want to suggest that, but you can search the net for it, and im sure someone else will reply to you.

We use to have an Angel fish in the tank with our female betta, we had to get rid of the Angel fish because it was killing and eating the betta, so you may want to keep an eye on your Angel fish..

.
I have got 8 bettas and the ones I keep in the community tanks are very thin and wiry and have lost parts of their tails to the other fish.I never catch anybody doing the nipping, but just find the betta without tails in the morning.the other thing I have found out is that the current in a tank ( from the filter) takes a lot out of the bettas.
bettas actually prefer calmer waters and mine also hide behind the filter tubes where there is no current.
also the bettas in the community tanks are considerably smaller than the ones i keep in their own separate jars.
Check it out for yourself!
