Leaving for a couple of days

So i will be out of town for 5 days. I am currently still in my cycle stage(using the pure ammonia fishless cycle). I am at the point where 4 ppm of ammonia is completely turned to Nitrite within 24 hours. Since I wont be here to add any Ammonia what should I do? I dont want all the bacteria to die with no ammonia to feed on. Should i add some fish food and let it decompose while i gone since that would be a slower decay/ammonia release than just adding 4 ppms of ammonia the day i leave.

Dont do that. You don't want fungus growing unchecked in your absence.
Don't do anything. The first stage bacteria won't all die off in 5 days. They'll just go into a stupor first, and when you return there will still be enough left to handle things.

Okay sounds good, thanks for the advice. Hopefully i come back to 0ppm Nitrite as well.
