We know we like mollies,guppys,and platies and maybe minnows---our problem is are these all compatible? Also we are planting the tank. As a begginer I do not really know what to do what to plant? Any advice anyone help me I am going nuts over here! Someone put me out of my misery please.
just kidding on that last part BUT help

Hi Amanda, Welcome to the forum.
I would avoid mollies as most tend to really like some salt in the water, which can cause problems with the plants. Platies and guppies can co-exist just fine. What size tank are you planning? |

Ok, what we have is a 12 gallon eclipse...so nothing fancy, we was told that some people don't have trouble with mollies and fresh instead of brackish water while others do....We dunno what we are doing other than a planted tank for sure. Sorry about the name change I am having issues logging in under my other name.
