I think they're great. I feed the frozen bloodworms, krill, brine shrimp and misis shrimp to my fish every day. One meal is frozen, the other is flake / pellet. I'm trying to fatten up my angels.

I prefer the frozen to the freeze dried because it slowly sinks rather than just staying mushy at the surface... and I'm sure it tastes better, too.

I like the stuff that isn't in cubes, but rather in a long flat plaque in a big. I chip pieces off of the food(s) I want to give them, put the pieces in a fishnet and run warm water over it until it's thawed. Then serve! Bon appétit!

I feed my saltwater fish the following:

Mysis shrimp -> one of the best foods out there (treats)
Krill -> also good as a treat
Fresh fish/shrimp/crab from the super market -> obviously a treat
blood worms -> never to my saltwater fish
brine shrimp -> sucks, hardly ever feed it unless I need a finicky eater to start eating
Silversides -> for the bigger fish a treat
Nori -> more like a staple
Spirulina -> again more like a staple
