She hasn't eaten since dec 14.
Today I threw in some dead blood worms-- she lunged at 1 and then spit it out. I got her a live white worm. After me dangling the worm in front of her and jiggling it she grabbed it and down it went.
She got another one as well.
She still is not swimming- just lays on the bottom. can't keep her balance either so I am keeping her water about 2 inches deep.
It is always a good thing when you see your fish begin to recover after a traumatic ordeal. Hopefully there wont be any long term problems since not eating for 2+ months is a long time.

Well I am now hand feeding the little girl every second day with either live worms or frozen blood worms. She is an enthusiastic eater but for some reason is not able to swim any more. she has a hard time staying upright. She remains bloated but her scales aren't sticking out.
her poo is rather odd- it is a liquidy slimey stuff with the occasional solid bit.
