Question Just Making Sure I Understood This....

I just wanted to make sure that I understood the culturing microworm and infusoria process. Alright...from what I understand for infusoria I put some old tank water in say...a gallon milk jug...and put wilted lettuce in it and let it sit for a day or so. Then for microworms I follow the instructions for oatmeal and put a thin layer on the bottom of a butter tub and put a pinch of yeast on top of the oatmeal and let it sit for a couple days and scrape the worms/nematodes off the edge of the bowl and feed to my bettas. If this is wrong please let me know ASAP.
