Tried using the search but its not working for me right now, so I apologize if this has been covered.
I'm starting a BW tank soon and would like to know what plants to put in it? I know I don't have many options but I would rather live plants than fake ones. Any options? |

I also thought about doing a Brackish tank, with plants. Most sites I found info on said that there are some plants that tolerate brackish conditions, like the ones in the link above, but they usually don't thrive. So I changed my mind.

Let us know how the plants do in bw. I'm interested to hear it from someone who personally has plants in bw instead of just reading stuff on websites.

Mandrake loves brackish water and looks lovely, but you have to have an open top tank.

One Word: Croutons.

Hornwort (in some cases) java fern, vallisneria (have had it go up to 1.014 in certain experiments) are all a few suggestions.
Then there are mangroves and certain hibiscus also but can't be submerged all the way.
