Hey I wasn't sure if this is where i should post this so please don't be mad.
Recently had some crabs in a FW tank and need to move them from that to a brackish tank. With the help of a few people, Scuba_kid, Frogman5, Bscman, and a few more this is what i was able to do with and for my fish , lemme know what you think. http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_0264.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_0259.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...4/IMG_0251.jpg |

Right on! Looks good!
Have they figured out how to climb up and out of the water yet? I bet they're quite a bit happier now, with more places to hide and explore. |

One Word: Croutons.

Nice
Just keep an eye on the water parameters, and water changes. Like I said before, you might have a bad ammonia spike in a few days.

Very nice set-up!
Tell me, are you happy with your Tetra Whisper pump? I was debating getting one but I'm skeptical of it's efficiency, given that it's based on an airpump. Happy with yours? How noisy is it? What is your salinity? I do hope you cycled your tank first because inverts are very sensitive to water parameters.

The only problem with them, IMO, is they take up tank space...I prefer HOB filters. Mine also is adjustable for flow--always a good idea. For the price, not a bad buy...it'd be great in a 5g tank! |

You should see my 75g with the 9 I've got.
They say they're harder to keep happy than other crabs such as red claws, because they prefer a sandy beach too. But I've come to find out it largely depends on what Uca subspecies they are. Mine seldom go out on the beach section.
