Unhappy How Do I Cut A Gsp Beak???

do i just like grab it or what lol? scizzers? ive been giving it snails but i only have 3 left AND I NEED THEM TO REPRODUCE >_> and my stupid lfs is out. ive noticed my fish nt being able to grab much food so... any help ? thanks in advance.

If you have been giving him one a week then he is fine. But I would suggest instead of clipping try filing.

That's cool. I didn't know you could trim them. I've got a 6" fahaka I need to trim.

Saltypickle, out of curiosity how long have you had your GSP, what is it's typical diet and does it currently have a overgrown beak, and if so how long did it take to develop? (can you post a pic?)

I have GSP's (18+ months now with no beak issues) and rarely feed them snails (but they're on a crustacean/mollusk-heavy diet). Just wondering how long it took beak problem to develop.

I picked up some clove oil yesterday. I'll post some pics when I get done.
