i don't think so.

pretty sure green spotted puffers will easily reach 8".

Did you mean 30 gallons?

I can't imagine the need for a 3 gallon tank to have a 30 gallon filter...
But in a 3 gallon tank you might be able to get away with like one bumblebee goby... I think

none, they need at least thirty gallons.

you could put freshwater dwarf puffers in a 3, or several of them in a 10.

dont mind my ignorance but if im only going to put one GSP in my 3 gal tank for lets say a month or to with that amount of filtration how can the fish suffer i mean they are kept in a 20 gal in the pet place with about 50 of them i do realize it will grow and once i get my 70 gallon tank ill put it in my thirty gallon

The fish will be stunted in that tank. Do not put the puffer in there.

They don't stay very long at pet stores.....return it if you already have it. You will likely kill it in a 3g.

I also subscribe to the idea of getting a dwarf puffer. They stay small, are freshwater so easier to keep up, and just as cute.
