I am not familiar with the requirements of the snail you are wanting but the process of making brackish water is pretty simple. Hit the lfs and buy some sea salt, red ocean or similar. Pre-mix the salt in a bucket of water and pour it into the pond. Use a hydrometer to test the specific gravity and adjust the salt levels to the point you want them. always start with less salt than you think you will need and adjust upwards. When switching from fresh to brackish it is best to do it in stages so that any critters that you have living in the pond have a chance to adjust to the new parameters. Also keep in mind that not all the residents you have now will survive as some critters can't handle salt water at all. Something else to keep in mind is that at approx. gravity of .010 your freshwater bacteria will die of and you will start a new cycle where the salt water bacteria will begin to establish themselves and take over.
So, in short, simple process, expect losses, expect to cycle the pond. Better I think to breed your snails in an aquarium tho where maintanance issues won't be as large a concern. Salt can get expensive on the pond scale and NaCl won't suffice for brackish water as table salt containce trace elements like iodine.

Even so, table salt isn't a substitute for sea salts. You will need a true sea salt mix like red ocean or similar to get the required balance for your water chemistry.
