GSP Growth Rate

I have a GSP about 8 months old, roughly 2 inches long, in a 20 gal brackish tank SG = 1.010 He is in the tank by himself with brackish plants. Water temp 78F PH 7.5 I do 20-25% water changes every other week. Is the SG appropriate for his size and age? Appears very healthy and alert. What age or size do I need to move him to a larger tank?
