Unhappy What's Wrong?

My GSP's are acting weird, they are not their normal color, and they stay hidden under the filter
29 Gallon
SG 1.017
NirIte - 0
NirAte - 5
Ammonia - 0
pH - 8.0

What could be the matter, the only other fish with them is a Knight Goby and he acts normal...

Thanks

Has anything changed recently in the tank or around the tank?

there are two about 2 inches long nothing has changed , oh i bought some new silk plants this month from Big Als online i dont think that would have hurt anything right?
( i know your thinking thats alot of salt but the more salt that is in there so far the better they seem to act, they are starting to act a little more normal now, maybe there wasnt enough salt in there i had to add some last night...)

I can't possibly tell you what could be wrong.

Can you tell exactly everything you remember happening in the past..say...week?

My gsp I had a while back did this..it turned black and just died. I know what happened though, I changed the sg level to quickly and a couple days later that all happened.

well this month i have added a small lava rock, to go with my large one, and 3 silk plants, and took out snail shells, no i havent changed any water yet cause it doesnt need it, added salt about every two weeks cause with all the air in my tank the salt disappears , and i have to add more, and i use instant ocean salt, if the salt makes a diffrence at all, there are no black spots on them at all, since i raised the SG, they are out swimming around again, i think maybe the SG got to low and made them feel bad, they nibbled on some Red wigglers today, and fought over them with the goby.. so maybe they are feeling better, I hope they dont die, i am sick and tired of things dying on me ( my baby mice are dying left and right )
