Well was really happy tonight when i found my blennies doing the mating dance it was so amazing to watch. But whenever i got close it stopped so only could get a small video but just thought i would share.
I know its basically imposible to breed in home aquariums but still is nice to know your fish are happy enough to breed.

Dragonets have been bred in aquaria quite a few times..but awesome to actually see it happening!
Good luck with it.

Mandarins do it all the time, but Scooters? Not so much. Congratulations, Jonno! As for raising the fry, well, losta luck on THAT one. It's doable if you practically have a small laboratory at your disposal, but otherwise you shouldn't expect much success. If you're very lucky you might just get a larva or two to survive until metamorphosis in a couple of weeks, but only if your tank is positively swarming with tiny, tiny foods for them.
I don't mean to discourage you. In fact, you should consider the possibility of getting everything ready to try to raise some fry for the next time they spawn, since there will very likely BE a next time fairly soon. |

Well they where at it again today, its so funny the male rises his fins up and dances around. I will keep a look out for larve but don't hold much hope for it. I would like to breed them but maybe a bit further in when i have more experence with saltwater.
Just thought i would share a picture of the blenny flaring:
