okay, I am now the owner of a pair of seahorses, and the male is due to give birth on tuesday of next week. I'm a bit unprepared so if anyone could give me some tips on culturing rotifers, green water, and baby brine, give them to me now!

theres an in tank brine shimp hatery. I've had mixed success with it my ram tank, but the only guy I know who raises seahorse swears by it. He says the new hatched brine is smaller and it doesn't foul the water. Here's the link:

Florida Aqua Farms is a company that specializes in that sort of thing. They have a product called Roti-Rich and other instant culture starters that you can get rushed to you. I'm sure they're online.
Alternately, you can just get some sea monkey food and start hatching some eggs, pronto. DT's algae can also feed brineshrimp, of course, if you want to keep a continuous culture going instead of hatching batch after batch. |
